In the Pharmaceutical division, KLab has 425 Medical Representatives and 80 Managers who cover 250,000 doctors, 100,000 pharmacies and 1,500 stockists in India every month, especially focusing on Gastroenterologists, General Surgeons, Gynaecologists, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Paediatricians and Physicians.
KLab identifies companies which have unique, high performance life science products complete with scientific back up, data and trials already being marketed in countries like USA, UK, Australia etc. and reaches exclusive arrangements for the Indian market. It then markets it or out-licenses these products to various successful companies.
KLab has more than 222 patents granted/ pending with the Government using NDDS, Nanotechnology, Dendrimers and Chiral Chemistry. These are marketed in India and out-licensed to other developing countries such as Latin America, South-East Asia, Africa, CIS etc.
